She understands the need to have a regular family GP. She strongly believes in the benefits of timely prevention of chronic diseases and works towards helping patients achieve their health and well-being goals.
Being a mother of two young boys, she is personally well aware of child health issues. She has a Diploma in Child Health from Sydney University and has a keen interest in child health.
As a fluent multi-lingual medical practitioner, she can also attend to the needs of patients who are not native English speakers. She is fluent in Mandarin, Hindi, and Nepali.
She specializes in Child Health, Women’s Health and antenatal shared care, Family Planning, Preventative Health, Chronic Disease Management, Geriatric medicine, Skin cancer check and minor procedures, Travel Health.
Negar grew up in Sydney and completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2000.
After completing her degree she worked in hospitals throughout Sydney and country NSW gaining experience in emergency medicine and general medicine.
She completed her GP training in 2007 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs.
Negar has a special interest in preventative and lifestyle medicine, paediatrics and women’s health.
In her spare time, Negar enjoys fitness related activities. She dreams of being able to travel the world participating in fitness events once her two young children are older.
Sumit began his career as a Physiotherapist training at Sydney University. He gained extensive experience, working for nearly 5 years in various sports practices in Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra.
He has worked with a diverse group of patients from elite athletes to the weekend warriors. Sumit completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy and gained a Level 3 Accreditation, which is the highest Physiotherapy merit. He completed a research project at the AIS in Canberra analysing soccer injuries and his expertise is in Biomechanics and running, he also specialises in shoulders and knees.
Medicine was Sumit’s passion and attracted him. He trained at the Australian National University and whilst at University he won the GP award. Subsequently he worked as an intern at Royal North Shore Hospital where he gained essential experience in General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Geriatrics, Paediatrics and of course General Practice.
In his spare time Sumit loves playing with his young daughters and losing tennis matches to his wife. He is also a keen soccer player.
Dr Evan Cameron, General Practitioner (MBBS)
Previously trained in Biomedical Engineering, Evan completed a graduate medical degree at the University of Sydney in 2014.
His resident years were spent in the Hornsby and Northern Beaches area. He then worked for 2 years in Emergency Medicine at Westmead, and 1 year of Addiction Medicine in the Westmead/Blacktown/Mt Druitt region.
He enjoys most aspects of medicine, but has a particular interest in addiction medicine.
He continues to enjoy dabbling in engineering and computer science.
Rebecca Levi, Accredited Practising Dietitian
Rebecca is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and member of the Dietitians Association of Australia. She grew up in Sydney and completed her dietetics degree at The University of Wollongong in 2015.
She is a compassionate Dietitian who works to help empower her clients to discover a more positive relationship with food and nutrition. She takes a holistic approach to health and has an appreciation for people and their unique story. Always aiming to learn about each individual to provide more personalised care.
She keeps up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and has experience with a diverse range of caseloads such as diabetes, mental health, cancer, heart disease, women’s health, food intolerances and gastrointestinal dysfunctions. While working more with individuals, she is also equipped to support at a community level with group education sessions.
Rebecca also loves nature, food and learning about different cultures. In her spare time you can find her out on a coastal walk, tasting various cuisines and when she can, travelling around Australia and the world.
She is available for appointments on Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning and welcomes all referrals from doctors however a referral is not necessary. Rebecca is looks forward to meeting and supporting you.
Julie Verma gained her Bachelor of Podiatry at the University of Newcastle, NSW. She has 30 years experience within the area of health, having previously worked as Registered nurse and midwife, prior to studying Podiatry. This broad knowledge of health allows Julie to approach health issues with a holistic view.
She enjoys all aspects of Podiatry and aims to improve patient’s quality of life by reducing foot pain, allowing people to walk comfortably and preventing future problems. Julie is a member of The Australasian Podiatry Association/ NSW Podiatry Association.
